“I spent nearly 40 glorious years exploring the globe in the Marine Corps and government service. Now, Susan and I are going to slowly work our way around the incredible U. S. of A and Canada playing golf, dropping a line in those bass filled ponds, enjoying dining on the patios of these beautiful golf clubs and getting to know this country at a relaxed pace. RV Golf Club is the right muster at the right time in our life – Oooorah!

Tony Jackson Retired-Major General U.S. Marine Corps (RV)

“As new members of the RV Golf Club, my wife Phyllis and I want to thank you for creating a unique concept for those of us RV’ers who still like to hit the little white ball around. We think it is great that the golf resort community nationally is getting on board. It is gratifying seeing all the new courses signing on every week. We look forward to utilizing the RVGC benefits. Great job!!!”

-Rick White, VP Entertainment, The LVH Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

“We raised five wonderful kids, now my wife and I want to do some traveling. First we joined RVGC. Then we bought an RV. I’m real excited about golfing, fishing and RV’ing. My wife does not golf or fish so RV Golf Club makes a lot of sense for us because she can read, relax and enjoy the amenities and surroundings of the beautiful courses.

-Jim & Maryanne Gorham, Vista, CA

“I’m an RV owner and a golfer and now I have the time to get out and see this great country, play great courses and enjoy some wonderful meals on my schedule, so RV Golf Club is a game changer for me. Let the traveling begin!”

-Jim Fassel, Former Head Coach NY Giants

“The thing I like most about RV Golf Club is you can save $30 to $60 a night on RV parking. I would use that money to have dinner in the clubhouse so it’s like I enjoy a free meal every night.”

-Doug & Helen Dulac, Las Vegas, NV

We are grateful to RV Golf Club. We stayed at one of your member clubs in  2014 (Fox Chase Golf Club in Stevens, Pennsylvania) and was treated so well by the owner, Steve Graybill and his family that they have become close friends of ours. We house sat their house in 2015 while they went off to Europe and last year we had the pleasure of hosting them in New Zealand. We always get an invite when the family travel to their cabin, up past Wellsboro for Labor weekend, and have accepted that invitation on three occasions.

It is exciting to understand how God used RV Golf Club to integrate us into the Graybill family.

Thanks for all your efforts

Kind Regards

Thanks, Jim, for the introductory account.  Thoroughly enjoying browsing the directory.  This changes my view of RV life.

Hi Jim,

We just stayed at your best course ever.

The course was perfect. We spent one night at Aspen Lakes, Sisters, Oregon in their lot. We played two days.

Sisters, Oregon should be on everybody’s list.

We had a fabulous first stay at Airway Meadows GC. What a lovely setting, and there is a small airfield right on the property with a collection of tail-dragger planes that pleased my husband no end. We got there at the end of day to enjoy a drink on the deck at the tavern and watch the last parachutists coming down. Joan Heber was fantastic.

Durango is a very well kept modern RV resort. Julia on front desk was all smiles and welcoming.  Got us checked in quickly, golf cart escort to our lovely, pull through level pad with full hookups. 2 nights free with full hookups so we staying. Did a walk around and liked the place. Hot tub outside seats 11, big pool. Arranged for a 60 minute Swedish massage! Big 24 hr Grocery store in the plaza across the way and several restaurants nearby. Tough to beat for free!  2 free nights has already paid for our membership! Strongly recommend joining RVGolf!

Hi Jim,

Driving out of LA, we were able to sneak by Magic Mountain before they closed I5 due to the fires.

We played golf at the Links at Riverlake in Bakersfield. What a great course. The shop gave us the email discount.

We introduced ourselves to Cory Thomas and spent the night in their lot. The main gate was locked all night, so we felt very safe.

I will mail Cory a thank you note.

Dear Jim,

Brian and I would like to send a huge shout out to you for putting together this Club. We are new members and had our first experience at the truly amazing Coeur D’ Alene resort golf course with the world-famous floating green.

We started out with lunch at the resort at Beverly’s on the 7th floor overlooking the lake. The food and service were fantastic. We had a quiet night at the golf course. The security guard came over to introduce himself and was lovely. The next day we played at this World Caliber Golf Club and were WOWED by the course and the staff and the most beautiful views imaginable! We had a great Caddie named Kamden too. We finished the day with dinner at the pro shop restaurant overlooking the lake and again the Chef came out to chat and make sure we were enjoying the whole beautiful scene on the deck overlooking the lake. We stayed a second night and were shocked to learn that more members were not taking advantage of this special treat so here we are telling everyone to absolutely GO to Idaho!!! You’ll love it!!  So Thank you! We look forward to lots of more great experiences with this Club and hope we were great Ambassadors for the Club.

Sincerely,

Amy & Brian Whalen

YES we DO want to continue our membership. We just parked at the Coeur D’Alene Resort a couple of hours ago for the first time. This place is BEAUTIFUL. Also, we ate dinner at the Pro Shop restaurant. Have been on the road now for about a month. Had the very best salmon we’ve had this entire trip (and some of the best ever). All of the food was excellent as was the view and as are the people. This is one beautiful place to stop AND to eat. Thank you for getting these folks on your list.

Dean & Kathe Miller

Hello Jim,

Tricia and I were on a 5,046-mile, accident free, RV trip this summer and we stayed at three of your golf courses, two in Utah, Canyon Breeze at Beaver and Wolf Creek at Eden and in Texarkana, the Texarkana Golf Ranch. (the most difficult course in all of Texas!)

Everything went as described on your web site, I called the course, said I was a member of your RV Golf Club and I was looking for a place to spend the night. They told me where they would like me to park so I wouldn’t be in the way.

All three Golf courses were great, hospitable and friendly, I golfed at two of the courses (9 holes) and bought a couple of things from the restaurant at the other.

I would like to recommend your RV Golf Club service and for all RV’ers looking for a refreshing over-night. Just ask yourself where you would prefer staying a beautiful golf course or Walmart parking lot?

Deryle Jensen

Dear Jim,

We had an awesome time in the USA, and now we’re back in the Netherlands. Perhaps we’ll be back in May 2018. We have visited 30 golf courses in our 9 months trip and we enjoyed it.

Many times, we were the first one who visited the golf course. Now I’m writing a e-book and I’ll mention the rvgolfclub as a good way of traveling and staying.
Thank you very much.

Kind regards

Clemens Bernardt

We have stayed and played at quite a few of the RV golf participating courses. Thanks for setting it up. It certainly has made our life better.

Hello Jim,

Douglas Community Golf Club – Douglas, WY was our first stay at a golf course since becoming RV Golf Club members.  We met you at the Escapade in Gillette.  We arrived at the course on Friday 7/19 just after 1pm.

I called the pro shop about an hour before arriving to see if there was available space for us.  Curtis assured me that there was space even though it was busy due to a tournament.  As you can see I found the back of the parking lot and settled in.  It is an excellent space centered between the 17th tee and the 18th green.  It’s perched on a prominent spot with a grand view.  We had an enjoyable round of golf in the afternoon and paid a rate lower than I was expecting- $23 for 18 + cart.  I walked and Robin rode along in a cart.  They told me it was half off, it must have been an afternoon rate?  After 9 holes we stopped off at our trailer for a break and a snack.  We lived on that golf course for a day!

The course was in great shape and both fun and challenging.  After my round I got some help and instruction on selecting a hybrid club.  I was able to demo 4-5 clubs and find one that filled the right gap.  So I bought a club and I can’t wait to go out and discover a new course.

I had another interesting observation during our stay.  I felt like we were less noticed than we normally are at a regular campground.  That was unexpected but refreshing in a way.  The next morning while we were having coffee, a group of pronghorn antelope walked right into the sprinklers to get showers.  After a good shake they went on their way.

Your vision of golf and the RV lifestyle came together in a perfect way for us on our first experience.  Thank you for putting the RV Golf Club together.

Gary R

Just to keep you up to date and to thank you for setting up this organization. We have stayed at over 20 Golf clubs since leaving L.A. and have been treated to some wonderful hospitality and friendship that one could ever wish for. We did not think it could get any better but we have come across what must be the jewel in the RV Golf clubs crown.

I am referring to “The River Bend Golf Links” Green Cove Springs Florida.

When we arrived here we were greeted by the owners, Scott Gladysz and his wife, Paula.

I am just amazed that there are still genuine people like these guys still left in the people business. It is just such a shame that some of the more so called up market courses cannot reach the standards that these guys reach.

We still have a long way to go in our travels and just hope that we will meet at least half of the hospitality that we have experienced at The River Bend Golf Links.

We were blown away when you organized tickets for us at Las Vegas and thought that was really special (And It was). Now we are welcomed like we really are appreciated …………..It’s kind of mind blowing…..What a great concept you have come up with and we are really grateful that we are part of it.

I have attached a couple of photos

One of us parked up at The Club at Pelican Bay and one of the view out our bedroom window at The River Bend Golf Links.

Hi Jim

I thought that I had found the jewel in the RV Golf Club crown in one of our previous overnight stays but we have now discovered the Jewel and the crown. I am referring to The Fox Chase Golf Club in Stevens. The owner, Steve Graybill and his wife, Dianne are the most wonderful people one could ever wish to meet. Not only are they great ambassadors for the RV golf Club but they are excellent ambassadors for the American People and the Human Race. I just cannot praise these guys and their Staff enough.

We have really been taken under the wing of these two. My wife and I know that we have made two new life time friends.

The course is in excellent condition and an absolute pleasure to play.

The ambience that surrounds the country side around Stevens just has to be experienced to believe and then to be greeted by people such as these just blows one away. Highly, highly, highly recommended on the itinerary of any travelers in this area.

Kind Regards

Dave Carroll

Just wanted you to know that we had a great experience the first time using our membership in RV Golf Club.
We stayed two nights at Mesa Spirit Resort in Mesa.  Staff was super friendly and made sure that we were happy with our stay. Our membership has already paid for itself.  Thank you.

Sandra D.

We are absolutely thrilled with RV Golf Club. We have stayed at a variety of golf courses and have found each and every one of them friendly, hospitable and meeting our every need. Recently we had a wonderful 2-night stay for free at Mesa Spirit RV resort in Mesa Arizona. That one stay more than paid for 2 years’ worth of RVGC membership. RVGC is a wonderful program even though neither my wife nor I are golfers. We love the pleasant surroundings, hospitality and gracious golf course managers and good people that we’ve met at these golf courses. I highly recommend RVGC to anyone, golfer or non-golfer. If you own an RV of any sort, enjoy the quiet, serene, relaxed comfort, amenities and elegant evenings under the stars at these beautiful golf courses. Best wishes and keep up the good work.

Dr. Jim Macy, Fulltimer, Enjoying every sunrise and sunset

We stayed at Live Oak Landing in Freeport, FL this week.  We had our two free RV Golf nights, and then stayed another week.  I played Windswept Dunes, Bluewater Bay, and Indian Bayou.  Lots of golf courses here, and great food and beaches in Destin.  The two guys I played with yesterday had played high school golf on the Indian Bayou course, against Bubba Watson.

John O’Connell, Livingston, TX

Stayed at Moravia, Iowa for 2 days. Beautiful spot on lake, full hook up, pull thru. No fees and no golfing required. Great restaurant with reasonable prices. Local TV available with antenna. Would stay there again.

William & Sandra Foster

Just pulled into our first RV golf club location in Camdenton MO. Will play the course tomorrow. How nice!  Thanks for organizing this!

Glenda Heideman

Hi, Jim.  I’m copying you on an email exchange I had with Newport Beach GC. You asked in a recent email what enhancements the members would recommend to improve the program.  I would recommend we add a “feedback” or “comments” section in the course description for each participating course. We need to assure these courses that their participation is appreciated with positive feedback.  I will be happy to write a comment for this course if you decide to add a “comments” section. This is the first of several courses in the San Diego area that I will be contacting over the next couple of weeks. Let me know what you think of this idea.

Sean

Good morning, Barry.  I am a member of the RV Golf Club and I see that you are listed as a participating golf course.  I have a 27 foot Winnebago and would like to stay overnight at your course on Wednesday, October 30.  I plan to arrive late morning on Wednesday and play golf in the afternoon.  Please confirm that there is a space available for that night.  Thank you for your participation in the RV Club program.  It is an excellent opportunity to try out the course and enjoy your service facilities.  Thanks, again.

Sean,

You are more than welcome to pick any spot on the left hand side of the parking lot when you enter.   This will be away from the daily golfers parking. Please check in with my starter, let him know you are parked and staying overnight.  I will probably be there, but just in case I miss you –
You are the first member of the club to come, so I will give you complimentary play for the day.
Hope to see you and enjoy your stay in Newport Beach.

Barry Kaabe

Recently spent 2 nights in Savannah using our membership and it was wonderful.  Staff was helpful and friendly and looking for seasonal employees to help with Christmas displays if you know of anyone looking for work camping in the area.

Susan Prichard

Our first use of an RV Golf Club park was Mesa Spirit, Mesa AZ. We were pleased with the “2-nites free” aspect of this park.  The staff was very professional and helpful.
Ron Daves

We enjoyed Rio Mimbres Golf Course in Deming, New Mexico. James Williams the contact person was very nice and accommodating. My husband did enjoy a golf game there as well as our overnight stay.  We feel privileged to be the first RV Golf Club Members at Rio Mimbres.  We did get a thank you card off to Mr. Williams, so hopefully that will reinforce the value they provide to RV’ers through the program. We are looking forward to rewarding new experiences and locations. Thank you once again for your initiative in creating the RV Golf Club Membership Program.

Sincerely,

Bonnie Zeran

Stayed at Creekside CC and Red Hawk GC and they were both great. Parked by beautiful lakes both times. The staffs and friendliness of the members was fabulous. We created quite a buzz when we pulled our rig into the parking lots.

Stayin’ and playin’ Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, AZ….that’s as good as it gets!

Aloha Jim, How’s life in the desert? I was telling you about the Golf Club in Quincy, Florida west of Tallahassee. Great 18 holes of golf with a 4 foot gator in the pond guarding the 18th green. Little ways out of town which makes it conducive to quiet nights and good sleeping. Plenty of room for parking for your rig and a very friendly former playing professional on the PGA circuit with some real great stories. The kitchen serves buffet dinner on Fridays that was very good with all the Southern fixings. Can’t go wrong – put it on your bucket list. More to come, stay well,

John Maple

The Coeur D’Alene resort is more beautiful than pictures can show. Everyone here is glad to see us. We are looking for more to come.

Larry

Hello again, Jim. Got to thank you for creating RV Golf Club – I would have never found these gems of a golf experience without it. My latest is Sugar Loaf GC in Southeast PA. You can go to – sugarloafgolfclub.com and get all the specifics on this gem of a golf course. Owned and run by a young couple – Wayne and Judy Kelly who do a great job with their golf course and taking care of their guests. Judy even surprised me with a gourmet meal that was delicious. Can’t promise you that but can guarantee you a great golfing experience. Happy trails to all the members, Aloha

John

Hi Jim

Thanks for the latest News. Looking forward to the latest App.

Just want to give an update since our stay at River Bend Golf club. I think that River Bend has set the standard for us and unknowingly others now seem to be attempting to reach that standard.

We are slowly travelling up the East coast and have stayed at :

Landings Golf Club at Warner Robbins Georgia

Collins Hill Golf Club, Lawrenceville…..Thanks Scott

Creekside Golf Club, Atlanta

Southern Hills Golf Course and swim Club Danville (Where for $10 we could stay in/by the pool all day if we wanted)

Chesapeake Golf Club, Virginia (We Didn’t meet Lynn Charles (He was on Business) but he was more than happy over the phone for us to stay)

Lake Presidential Golf Club, Washington ( Again we didn’t get to meet Bart Wolfe but he was very obliging on the Phone)

We have been treated very, very well by all the Golf Clubs we have visited and want to thank you again so very much for all your organization and time involved in Managing the RV Golf Club.

All the Best to you.

Dave and Viv Carroll (New Zealand)

We stayed at the golf course in California City for one night and it was wonderful. Thank you so much for this service. I also just called the golf course in Oxnard and talked to a very pleasant knowledgeable person. My husband will probably play golf there soon if he has not already done so.

Lea Veronica

Jim
Playing at Erin Hills later this week … I asked about parking my 45’ RV on their lot when I am there as there are really no close RV parks … they said “no problem, just park your RV on the far part of the parking lot” … was rather stunned in that. Whistling Straits, Ocean at Kiawah wouldn’t even think about it. Then, I saw Erin on your .pdf list!

Also, I see you have Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, one of my favorite public courses … I have played there before when my RV is at the Newmar factory getting serviced, just drive up and back.

Thanks

Laura Schaefer

We stayed at the championship Coeur d’Alene Golf Resort last week.  This is absolutely one of the most beautiful courses we have ever seen.  The landscaping is beyond beautiful and immaculately groomed. No hassles, no problems and courteous friendly staff.  It was a good stay.

Sandra D.

Dear Mr. Tyson,

We enjoyed a wonderful day of golf on your Indian Creek golf course.  What a beautiful and challenging course!  All of your staff was friendly and inviting from the time we checked in, ordering lunch on the turn and enjoying our tasty dinner on the patio overlooking Mt. Hood.

Thank you for accommodating the parking of our 40’ coach in the lower lot of your golf course, it worked out perfectly.

We look forward to returning for another round or two of golf and completing our evening with dinner at Divots.

Cheryle and Joe Daley, Members of RV Golf Club

We had our first RV Golf Club stay … Wild Oak Golf Course … we are their first RV …

Nice course … plenty of room by the driving range. Challenging, well-kept course … nice people. 3 thumbs up!

Wm. Patrick Bauer, President, Entegra Coach Owners Association

We parked at Kanyon Valley CC in New York, the course was nice and people were super. This is a great idea.

Karen Muzic

Jim:         A win-win!     My wife and I parked our self-contained beautiful motorhome at the far side of the golf course parking lot, stay for one or two nights, play one or two rounds of golf, eat at the restaurant and shop in the pro shop.  Everybody wins.

Ed Bybee

Hi Jim,

Pat Dunne and Yvonne

This year we have some medical issues and can’t see using our membership this year. The first year we used it going across Canada and loved it. What a great membership you created. We’ve told many friends and campers about it. Will keep passing on the word and hope to join again when we can travel again.

Pat and Yvonne Dunne

Jim, I enjoyed using the RV Golf Club site to stay and play at a lovely course in Luddington, MI, called Hemlock Golf Club.  The greens were nearly perfect, fast, smooth, and a challenge.  The fairways were well cared for and a pleasure to hit from.  The host was most cordial and made us feel right at home on the grass near the driving range.  A real pleasure, so, many thanks to you for the chance to play this course and to participate in RV Golf Club.

Mike Summerlin

Sign me up for another year -really enjoying all the benefits that your club offers.

John Maples

Hi Jim…

Thanks for the new updated list.   We’ve used the R.V. Golf Club three times, all happened to be at the same course (Aspen Lakes) near Sisters, Oregon.  Outstanding people there, we loved our one night stays.

Craig Weise

G’day Julie.

I have posted a money order to you today, I have really enjoyed using the RV golf club and have met some lovely people.

Thank you yours friendly,

Ron and Penny Weston, Queensland, Australia

Thanks Jim…….for the update information about the available properties……we’ve been to several now……..on our trek across Canada……..and no problems ……..we have passed your web site on to other RVers……selectively …….who would meet your standards…….we are planning to use two clubs in the next week or so….in Nova Scotia…….and more as we move forward into the U.S.

Cheers

Pat and Yvonne Dunn

Jim

Had another wonderful week at Erin Hills several weeks ago.

Will be there again next year, already have my tee times, after I make a pit stop at the US Open at Oakmont.

Laura Schaefer

Thank you, Jim.  We wish you lots of continued success!!  It’s a great opportunity that you are providing.

Andrea Perry

I was only able to stay at two places this year, but one of them, a training facility somewhere in Pennsylvania, was worth the whole cost of membership.

Patricia Kerns

We just arrived at the Newaukem Valley Golf Club in Chehalis, WA. It’s easy to access, just 5 minutes off the I-5 and plenty of space to park our 40 footer with tow car attached. We were welcomed by the very friendly staff in the pro shop. The weather is iffy so will not be playing this visit, but will definitely be going in for their Friday night steak dinner special.

Ray & Pauline Taylor

“Lemoore Golf Course-We recently played and stayed at this course, which is by Fresno, CA. I called 3 months ahead of our arrival to reserve an RV spot and then confirmed a week before. We were warmly greeted and given a great May special rate.  We had fun golfing, but I got a kick out of the many people who swung by our trailer to ask about RV Golf Club. I would have guessed that most were retired military. We felt safe staying at this location and would golf here again.”

Allison Fiddler

We spent a night at the Coyote del Malpais Golf Course in New Mexico. The staff was wonderful and the scenic parking spot was ideal. We had breakfast at their snack shop before leaving in the morning. Love my membership even though I don’t golf, we plan to use it more frequently.

Craig Post

Hi Jim,

True Blue is one of the top 100 golf courses in US and top 10 in SC (we were told).  In truth it is a majestic and challenging course and the staff could not be nicer. True Blue is a true gem – so glad they have a relationship with RV Golf.  We enjoyed hitting balls and dining there – a real Eagle.

ML

Just arrived @ Lemoore Municipal Golf Course. We r their 1st RV Golf Club guests. We’re parked on a wide shoulder, on the street right next 2 the clubhouse. Had a bite 2 eat in their cafe. Plan 2 hit a bucket of balls & 9 holes @ twilite. Looks like a nice public course. Rich Rhoades is very accommodating & they have more areas to have all size rigs park.
