Are you planning a golf vacation along the East Coast? You should take your RV!
An RV Golf trip can be surprisingly affordable.
An RV Golf Club membership allows you to park overnight for free at beautiful Golf Courses, Resort Hotels and RV Resorts.
Then, on your next RV trip you can stay at some of the most beautiful private properties in the country.
We recently planned a long weekend trip by contacting 3 golf courses along the east coast.
Starting in South Carolina and ending up in North Carolina. Since the overnight parking at the golf courses does not have any hook ups, we alternated the night at a golf course with a stay at an RV Park. By the way, RV Golf Club also has several high-end RV Resorts where you get 2-nights with full hookups, free.
Basically, when you save the cost of paying for an RV Park every other night it pays for your greens fees at the golf courses where you park for free! Plus, we were able to take advantage of the discounts at the pro shops for breakfast and lunch.
We were shocked by the high cost of the RV Parks in the Myrtle Beach area, and opted to park free at RV Golf Club Golf Resorts in that busy, touristy area.
One of the advantages to the coastal area is all the parking lots were nicely paved and flat so we could level the motorhome without any problem.
Most did not have a security gate so we were able to come and go as we needed. Everyone was very welcoming even though the courses were busy since the summer vacation season had started.
This trip worked out really great and we are now checking RV Golf Club’s “Places to Park Map” to plan our next trip.
We’re planning to explore either the Northern Midwest or the New England area, both are perfect options for mid summer to escape the southern heat.
